How to use nature to feel calm and focused.




The next time you're out in nature with your child take some time and really notice the sounds, shape, colour, smell, and texture of the living world that surrounds you.

Ask your child to reflect on what they notice.

You don't have to make a special effort to do this. Take a moment when you're at the play park or waiting at the school gate.

It's a simple and very effective way to bring our awareness back to where we're standing and how our body feels.
